Sierra Leone: Tecsbaco Clears Air in London Mining And Afro Mineral Tussle

In the midst of a controversy between London Mining and Afro Minerals, the managing director of TECSBACO has insisted that he legally transferred the lease to London Mining Company.

Both London Mining and Afro Minerals have been in dispute, and even ended in the courts of Sierra Leone , over leased iron ore enriched areas in Marampa , North West of Sierra Leone .

Mr. Bah says his company TECBACO acquired the else for part of Marampa for a period of 25 years and transferred the lease to London Mining Company. "The leased area still remains the same" he insists.

The matter is currently looked into by the government. The lease was made by the previous government.
