Eritrea: Visiting Nationals Residing Abroad Laud Efforts to Promote Domestic Tourism

Asmara — In a course of a visit to the sub-zones of Senafe and Adi-Keih, Eritrean nationals who live abroad lauded the Ministry of Tourism's endeavors to promote domestic tourism.

One of the visitors, Ms. Dawit Hailemariam from the US city of Boston, said that they visited the historical sites of Metera, Belew-Kelew, Keskese and Kohaito. She indicated that the tour has enabled the group not only to get acquainted with the nation's rich tourism potentials and historical sites but also witnessed the major programs being implemented through the Warsay-Yikaalo Development Campaign aimed at improving the people's standards of living.
