Lagos — Popular hangout, Laccasa Bar on Ozumba Mbadkwe Road, Victoria Island, Lagos is presently groaning under a heavy cash-squeeze problem, and this is authoritative. We hear some big guys who are regular patrons of the bar have formed a habit of always coming around, enjoying their stay with the most expensive champagne and spirits, and when they are through, they simply walk out without paying for their drinks. The owners are now complaining loudly. But their dilemma is that the debtors are their friends.
If there is one party that will be talked about for a long period exclusively for its sumptuousness and scale of opulence, it would be the 40th birthday bash of Ehime Alkhomu, the first son of Admiral Augustus Alkhomu, the former Vice President of Nigeria. By its sheer level of lavishness, many would find it hard to match or utterly impossible to beat. His stunningly beautiful wife, Titi couldn't contain her elation as the man that means the whole world to her celebrated. She was in a cheerful and gay mood, laughing hither and thither and generally having unadulterated fun. The soiree held penultimate Sunday, at Ehime's residence in Ikoyi, Lagos. It was the kind of party where you see the cream of thoroughbred silverspoon kids in the same place at the same time. Right from the door, the glamorous gaggle of guests that flocked the venue to celebrate with the Alkhomus on one of their joyous days were treated like royalty. Greeted with Champagne and exotic wine, and there was a delicious array of canapés to tempt the tastebuds.

But, let us quickly tell you for free that marriage is not on the cards again for Abimbola Alashe as widely speculated by some mischief makers. She is a delightfully beautiful woman who minds her business, and does not have time for frivolities. Though, that she has some 'friends' who are making her happy, is good for her.

Vivacious and effervescent Bella is blessed with dreamy eyeballs and captivating looks that many of her peers would search the whole of the earth to have. Little wonder, male attention border on the frenetic. Her beauty is the one guys drool and grovel over. She is extremely private and a study in simplicity and restraint. Apart from dressing to the nines at all times with a sense of togetherness as the occasion demands, whenever she sashays into any party, she holds her own, and towers above many.
She has more than come of age and guys are now jostling to drag her to the altar. But let us quickly tell you that Bella has only one boyfriend called Jameel Disu, a dark and handsome dude who loves Bella to a fault. So besotted to Bella that Jameel publicly put her name and pictures on the much-talked about facebook as the love of his life. Whether the two lovebirds are getting married anytime soon, or, not, nobody can tell.
No Baby For Omowunmi Akinnife
Scandals usually follow beauty queens after their reign. Some of them jump from one man to another without caring a hoot whose ox is gored. But not for Omowunmi Akinnifesi, the dark and pleasantly appealing former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria. She is such a decent soul that doesn't want any discolouration on her garb. The news currently doing the rounds is that Omowunmi who is happily single is pregnant. According to an insider who was seething and gobsmacked about the rumour, 'Omowunmi is absolutely not pregnant, and she is not going to have a wedding anytime soon'. Rumours that the former beauty queen might be in the family way surfaced after a soft-sell magazine reported it that she has added up in all the right places. Unfortunately, it seems as if someone put two and two together and came up with five. Though, what actually made the rumour arrestingly interesting is because of her increasingly glamorous lifestyle. And she has not been amorously linked with any guy. These days, she is now very perceptible, attending many of those festive occasions where socialites and glitterati rub shoulders.
