South Africa: Dladla Sundowns' Player of Month

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Trott Moloto yesterday named speedy winger Josta "JD" Dladla as the Brazilians' Player of the Month.

Dladla was rewarded for the contribution he made to the club last month with a cheque of R25 000.

The second Best Player of the Month is defender Derrick Spencer who took away a prize of R20 000, with third place going to Benedict 'Tso' Vilakazi who bagged R15 000 for his excellent performances.

Special recognitions went to Defender Siboniso 'Nesta' Gaxa and Dario Monteiro who became R10 000 richer while highly-rated youngster Bongane "Smootsa" Twala collected R5 000 for his efforts.
