Bloemfontein Celtic players and technical staff are set to meet the club's management when they return from Cape Town following their most disastrous performance since the beginning of the season.

Celtic suffered their third defeat in a row when beaten 2-0 by Ajax Cape Town in their Absa Premiership game at Athlone Stadium last night.

Celtic CEO Ike Augousti has confirmed the meeting but dispelled any fears of a crisis in the club.

Despite Phunya Sele Sele's poor form, management has assured coach Mich D'Avray of their full backing and has appealed to Siwelele not press the panic buttons.

"We are waiting for the team to come back from Cape Town after which we will meet with the players and technical team and try to find a solution to our problems," Augousti said.

"However, that doesn't suggest that we are unhappy with the coach or blaming the players for our bad performance so far, but obviously results are a major concern.

"The team has been playing well, but they miss a lot of goal scoring opportunities.

"We are going to have short break before our next game and this is going to help us rectify our mistakes and work on our short comings.

"I am confident that we will turn the corner soon," Augousti added.
