Platinum Stars coach Miguel Gamondi has lashed out at referees following his team's home losses to Bidvest Wits last night and to SuperSport United last week.
Last night Platinum Stars lost 1-0 to Bidvest Wits through a late penalty.
Wits were awarded what looked a soft penalty by referee Buyile Gqubule after Oscar Ntwagae was said to have been fouled by Clifford Mulenga inside the box.
Marawaan Bantam scored from the penalty spot to give the visitors a 1-0 win.
The decision did not go down well with Gamondi who claims referees seem to have something against the Tycoons.
"It is difficult to win against the referees and I am very disappointed about the way they handle the matches.
"Last week we lost 3-1 to Supersport United and their first goal was a clear offside. Today [last night] Wits were awarded a penalty for nothing.
"Maybe the referees have something against Platinum Stars because we cannot always have such decisions going against us. It is never easy to play against referees and no team can win against them." said Gamondi after the match.
Last season, Kaizer Chiefs' coach, Mushin Ertugral also complained bitterly against the same ref (Buyile Qgubule) after his team drew 1-1 with AmaZulu in Durban.
Qgubule had to be escorted from the field to escape the wrath of the angry Amakhosi fans.
Mushin also complained after his team lost 1-0 to Moroka Swallows in the MTN 8 semifinal second leg match in August, ironically it was at the same venue, Olympia Park in Rustenberg.
Last night Gqubule flashed seven yellow cards, plus one red card to Wits' Patrick Phungwayo.
Phungwayo was dismissed for his second bookable offence.
