Luanda — The player Armando Angélico, of Recreativo do Libolo group of coastal Kwanza Sul province, leads the ranking of Angolan chess players in the active list of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) with 2,241 points, according to the site of this
international organ in charge of the sport.
Angélico is at the top of other Angolans due to his participation, last July, in the 23rd International Open of Spain.
International master Alexandre do Nascimento is in the second position with 2,206 points, followed by Rui Campos with 2,105 and Sandra Venâncio with 1,921 points, all of the team of Kwanza Sul, in a list of nine players.
