Luanda — The co-ordinator of the organising commission of the top ten music contest named "Top dos Mais Queridos", Sebastião Lino, guaranteed last Wednesday that the conditions are created so that on 3 October the public may know the winner of this year's competition, which awards prizes to the three Angolan artists with the highest popular votes.

Speaking to ANGOP, the director of the National Radio of Angola (RNA)'s Channel A, said that in terms of technical conditions everything is being done to hold the music gala with the value, dimension and quality of the music of Angolan artists.

For Thursday, the source said, it is reserved the last rehearsals with the 10 final musicians at Atlântico cinema in Luanda, the venue that will hold the event and the tickets started to be sold there, at the price of 2,500 kwanzas.

The official also informed that until Friday at 12 p.m, the public may still vote for their favourite act.

The winner will be awarded USD 15.000, the second placed will get USD 8,000, and the third one will get USD 5,000 USD.

There will also be a Prize of the Critique, whose winner will receive 10.000 US dollars.

The award ceremony gala will take place on Friday, at 8 p.m, in Atlântico cinema, in Luanda.
