Vera Okolo and Blessing Akusiobi will not be ejected from their present abode at the National Institute of Sports, NIS after all.
Both Super Falcons players have been camped at the institute where they have attended physiotherapy sessions since their return from Germany a few months ago where they underwent knee surgery.
However reports emanating last week said the girls were about to be forced out since the NFF did not see any need to continue keeping them there.
But a member of the NFF women football department told KickOffNigeria.com that the crisis had been resolved.
"There is no way the NIS can evict them. Someone is in charge of their welfare and he is on top of it," our source said under the condition of anonymity.
"I agree that something was slow in happening and it affected them a bit, but I am sure no one will evict them. They are still undergoing physiotherapy sessions and are still part of the Federation's plans."
Vera Okolo told KickOffNigeria.com that she actually spoke with the NFF president Sani Lulu who reassured her and Blessing Akusiobi that all would be well.
"We are now okay. I agree that we heard we were about to be evicted but Oga (Sani Lulu) called me last week to tell me and Blessing that we should not worry about anything and that he has directed the head of the department to take care of everything," Okolo told KickOffNigeria.com.
