Angola: Sahrawi Ambassador Considers Reconstruction Process Impressive

Luanda — The Ambassador of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic to Angola, Luchaa Mohamed-Lamin, this Thursday here considered the country's reconstruction process as impressive.

The diplomat made these declarations after visiting the facilities of the Angola News Agency (ANGOP), where he receiving information on its functioning.

To Luchaa Mohamed-Lamin, "in general, all Africans are proud to see a fellow country that suffered a lot with war, to now show how capable it is, through concrete actions, heading towards development".

He added that it is possible to follow up the impressive manner, mainly through the media, how the process of rebuilding bridges, roads, construction of factory, among other infrastructures, is underway.

The Sahrawi diplomat also stressed that the importance of this process also resides on the fact that national reconstruction works are not only focussed on a selected zone or region, but in the whole country.

Working in the country for about three months, Luchaa Mohamed-Lamin made reference to the fact that he witnessed the electoral process in the country, through he considers that Angolans showed good civic attitude and political maturity to the world.

He stated that after many years of war and destruction, Angolans showed that they have the capacity to solve their own problems.

On the other hand, the diplomat congratulated the management board of the Angola News Agency (ANGOP) for the good information work, with a vast team of young Angolan professionals who dedicate their effort to make Angola known abroad.

According to the official, information is something very important because in an objective and fair manner it might contribute to the solving of problems of the continent, so that people can regard the future optimistically.
