Luanda — The politburo of the ruling MPLA, which met on Wednesday here under the guidance of President José Eduardo dos Santos, analysed the party's budget and the proposal of activities for the year 2009, among others issues concerning the internal activity of this political organisation.

Participants to the extraordinary meeting also assessed the implementation rate of the strategy proposal that was approved by the party's 5th congress for the 2004/2008 period.

The politicians also analysed the reports of evaluating the process of the 2008 legislative elections and of the commission of discipline and auditory to be submitted to the next ordinary meeting of the Central Committee.
