WBC Heavyweight Champion, Samuel Peters is putting final touches on training in Freiburg, Germany, for the October 11 Title Fight against Vitali Klitschko.
Immediately after the September 4 Press Conference in Berlin, where he announced his October 11 heavyweight title showdown with Vitali Klitschko, the WBC Champion Samuel Peters (30-1, 23 KOs) set up a training camp in Freiburg, Germany. The "Nigerian Nightmare" has enjoyed a wonderful month-long camp and is in tremendous shape as he winds down in readiness to depart for Berlin.
Peter is thrilled to have had the opportunity to train in the southern German town, found in the middle of the Black Forest. "I love it here in Germany. The people and the scenery have been beautiful. "I intend on beating Vitali in his own backyard and to show that I am the true champion, I have decided to train in his backyard. No matter where this fight is I will not be defeated. I hope his brother Wladimir is in attendance to watch him get knocked out.
"I've been chopping down trees in the Black Forest in preparation for Vitali Klitschko," On October 11, I am going to chop down a Ukrainian tree named Vitali," Peters said.
Peters' promoter, Dino Duva, President of Duva Boxing Dynasty said this is the toughest fight of Peters' career and he has never been this focused on a fight and that he wanted to train in Klitschko's backyard to make a real statement.
Peter is joined in Germany by his training team and excellent sparring partners.
