Lagos — Peugeot Automobile is able to attract more customers because of its after sales support services, the Head Corporate Communications of the company, Toyin Akingbodo has said.

Akingbodo, who spoke through his Assistant, at the ongoing Lagos Auto Fair, said even in keeping with the tradition of a robust after sales support, "we came with spare parts."

"We concentrate on after sales", he said, adding, "we appreciate seeing Peugeot going strong on the roads long after sale hence the emphasis on after sales support. Some of the parts even on display here at the auto show include head lamps, trafficator, and even boutique items.

"And our participation at the show is to encourage the culture of shopping in Nigeria and indeed we brought various Peugeot brands that will delight customers. The 307 Sedan that we launched in Abuja and Lagos is here at the promo price lasting 90 days; the Hatch back and the 307 station wagon, family car to support the more executive Sedan . Also on display are 207, the Partner and 407", he said.

Here you would also have the opportunity to test drive.

Harping on the after sales support, Mr. Timothy Eyagbon, an after sales supervisor in the South West Zone, said, Pan support services spreads across Nigeria but with regional points as applied to the South West and the Middle Belt, in Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, Ekiti, Osun and Kwara. The prices, he said, is even cheaper than mechanic workshops.

On warranty, he noted, "we don't engage in rhetorics, it is one year without limitation to mileage covered within the one year warrantee unlike other brands that limits to 6,000 miles."
