Windhoek — On September 24, Bank Windhoek took its staff to the Heroes Acre to bestow them with honours for their contribution to the growth and performance of the bank during the financial year ended June 30, 2008.
The Maerua Mall branch, managed by Barry Stander, received two gold awards for being the top-performing branch and for leading the branch that showed the best growth.
The gold award for the best performing specialist finance branch went to the Small and Medium Enterprises branch, which is under the leadership of Hans Sauer.
"Through our annual executive banking services and specialist finance awards, we recognise the achievements of branches and encourage them to raise their levels of performance, thus providing better service to our clients," said Executive Officer at Bank Windhoek's Retail Banking Services, André Nel.
