Plans for a sponsored National First Division league and knock-out competition are still in the pipeline.
This emerged yesterday when the PSL's chief operations officer Ronnie Schloss met with representatives of both Coastal and Inland Streams.
Appealing to the clubs to show restraint, Schloss disclosed that progress had been made to the extent that the League was just waiting on the Board of Directors of a potential sponsor.
The veteran administrator said that as soon as they get the green light from the league's Exco, they would reschedule fixtures.
Ezenkosi boss Jomo Sono, who had earlier voiced his concern that the current stop-start action in the First Division was impacting negatively on the clubs, expressed his confidence in the League, saying that he was sure that they would find a solution to the situation.
