Uganda: Sameg is Best Foreign Exhibitor at Rwanda Fair

Kampala — A UGANDAN firm, Sameg Chemical Products, has won this year's Foreign Exhibitors Award at the Rwanda International Trade Fair.

The award was won at the 11th Rwanda trade fair that ended last month.

"It was a great honour not only to Sameg Chemicals but to Uganda as a country," Sam Rugambwa, the managing director, said.

Rugambwa said the award brings to four the number of trophies won by Sameg since its inception 18 years ago.

He said Ugandans will have the opportunity to purchase Jireh's improved products during the UMA trade fair that opens today (Monday).

"The improved products include Jireh Apple Gel, Jireh Banana Gel, Jireh Lemon Fresh, Jireh Guava Fresh and Jireh Aleovera Gel," Rugambwa elaborated.

He thanked the Private Sector Foundation for supporting local investors.
