Ghana: Nokia Opens Care Centre in Accra

Nokia, the world's leader in mobility and network equipment, solutions and services, has opened its first Nokia Care Centre in Ghana.

Located at North Kaneshie, Accra, the new Nokia Care Center further establishes Nokia's commitment to deliver professional and excellent customer service to users of Nokia phones.

The concept is to ensure that Nokia customers are "always connected" as they can bring their faulty Nokia mobile devices to authorized and trained technicians for repairs.

Within two years, Nokia has experienced huge growth in the Ghanaian market and has remained the number one most preferred brand in the country.

According to Rory Little, Service Channel Manager, Nokia Sub-Saharan Africa, "The new Care Center adds value to the Nokia brand as we want our customers not only to buy genuine Nokia products but also to enjoy the benefits, by ensuring that these products can be serviced, enhanced and upgraded professionally".

Ladjicke Diouf, Care Manager of Nokia West Africa, reiterated Nokia's commitment to quality, saying "All Nokia mobile phones come with a 12-month warranty. This should encourage our consumers to believe in our products because we offer reliable after sales service."

"Our Care Service guarantees a 12-month manufacturer's limited warranty on any Nokia product and is offered from the date of purchase of the original product by the first end user. This limited warranty is valid and enforceable in the country where the product has been purchased," he said.

The Nokia Care Centre is the first to be opened in Ghana. Nokia has been able to successfully partner with Link Africa with intentions to establish more care centers within Accra centre and in neighbouring areas.

The newly opened Care Center Manager, Mr. Ayao Akakpo said "Our Care shop in Accra is one of a long series through which we will be able to cascade our service to all customers in Ghana, as Customer Satisfaction is our goal".
