Luanda — Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, Friday in Luanda, said the country will gain a new Organic Law that will soon be submitted to the Council of Ministers.
"It clarifies the duties of the prime minister in the light of the Constitution and of the Supreme Court ruling, in its capacity as Constitutional Court, of December 21, 1978 and the role of the president of the Republic and head of Government," said the head of State.
In addition, José Eduardo said, the President of the Republic will establish a necessary articulation with the ruling party, whereas the premier will be the member of connection with the National Assembly (Parliament) and of dialogue with Government's social partners.
The newly inaugurated Government, led by prime minister, Paulo Kassoma, comprises of 33 ministers and two secretaries of State.
The new ministers joining the Government are Assunção Afonso dos Anjos (Foreign Affairs), Manuel Nunes Junior (Economy), Guilhermina da Costa Prata (Justice), Severim de Morais (Finance) and Idalina Valente (Commerce).
