Angola: Government Invests in Internal Development to Reduce Poverty

Luanda — The development of actions that contribute to the growth of internal trade is one of the measures to be adopted in the sector.

This was said Friday in Luanda by the minister of Commerce, Idalina Valente.

According to the official, who was speaking at the end of the swearing-in of the new Angolan Government, the strategy is intended to contribute to reduce poverty.

She added that reduction of poverty is one of the main components of the Government programme under which trade plays a relevant role.

The development of internal trade, she added, might provide a better distribute from production.

However, Idalina Valente said this requires the combination of efforts among the various ministries.
