Uganda: Peter Miles at BBA Three This Sunday

When a DStv viewer in Botswana tells you she would do anything to watch Peter Miles perform live, it suggests Uganda has made a real impact on this continent in the field of entertainment.

Well, several BBA 3 viewers have been posting their comments expressing how excited they are because Peter Miles is performing at this week's eviction party in South Africa.

The king of ragga/dancehall music left Uganda on Saturday ahead of his performance on Sunday. Miles, who was in company of his stage partner Menshan, left for South Africa aboard South African Airways and he's expected to return on Monday.

The appearance of Peter Miles and Menshan will make it two Ugandan outfits to have performed at this year's BBA so far even when other countries are yet to see their artists hit the glamorous stage in South Africa.

A few weeks ago, Uganda's Bebe Cool together with Kenya's Nazizi and Wyre, under the East African Bashment Crew (E.A.B.C) performed at the very first BBA 3 eviction party. Peter Miles and the E.A.B.C are darlings in South Africa for their hard-thumping music.

Peter Miles won the Best Ragga Dancehall Video for his song Love at last year's Channel O Music Awards, where the E.A.B.C left with more than three awards including Video of the Year for Kube.

Peter Miles promised to sing all the people's favourite songs including Love when he steps on stage. He will perform in two phases - the first one just after the show's presenter KB has introduced the show and the last one just before KB reads out the name of the housemate departing the house this week.

Ugandan housemate Morris Mugisha is technically safe from eviction this week and Peter Miles relishes performing without pressure. This week has Uti from Nigeria, Ricco of Angola and Zimbabwe's Munya up for possible eviction. The BBA 3 eviction show screens on M-Net and Channel 198 on Sunday at 9 p.m.

Meanwhile, viewers also stand a chance to win something by simply voting for the housemate they wish to evict. Every time you vote, you increase your chances of winning a Sony Playstation 3 gaming console or a Digital Mobile Television handset, courtesy of DStv Mobile.
