Nairobi — Retired president Daniel arap Moi has told Kenyan men that their traditional role as controllers of public affairs was coming to an end.
He said many Kenyan women had acquired the requisite educational grounding as well as the necessary will-power to challenge men in all areas of human endeavour.
Mr Moi was alluding to the new trend in the Rift Valley where women were being elected as Members of Parliament and councillors to replace their male counterparts.
