Kenya: State to Help Broker Peace Deal in Somalia

Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka has reiterated the government's commitment to help Somalia find peace, saying the move would end piracy along the war-torn country's coastline.

Mr Musyoka said piracy could be averted if Somalia had a stable government. He said President Kibaki had promised to engage other IGAD leaders for a solution to the Somalia problem.
