Asmara — A total of 528 students graduated today in Masters, Degree and Diploma from the Colleges of Business and Economics, as well as the College of Health Science.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony at Asmara University representing President Isaias Afwerki, Chancellor of Institutions of Higher Learning, Mr. Saleh Meki, Minister of Health, underlined that manpower is Eritrea's major resource. He further noted that the Eritrean government is making substantial investment to develop human resource capacity through opening different institutions of higher learning across the nation. Mr. Saleh called on the graduates to work diligently in serving the people and the nation.
Also speaking on the occasion, the Dean of Business and Economics, Dr. Yemane Misgina, stated that the college is offering training so as to meet the demands of business establishments. He also called on the graduates made due contribution in backing up the nation-building process.
Similarly, Dr. Azeb Okbagebriel, Dean of the College of Health Science, outlined the accomplishments already registered in training skilled health professionals.
A representative of the graduating batch expressed the readiness of the graduates to live up the nation's expectation.
Present on the occasion were different government officials, invited guests and parents of the graduating batch.
