Nigeria: Students Honour Leadership Boss

Graduating Mass Communication students of Kaduna Polytechnic have bestowed on LEADERSHIP Newspapers Group Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah, an award tagged "Media Icon, Print Category" for the year 2008.

The award was presented at the 2008 Mass Communication Students' Special Award/Dinner Night, held at the 1 Div Officers Mess, Kanta Road, Kaduna.

It was received on his behalf by the company's Executive Director, Mr.Abraham Nda-Isaiah, who thanked the students for their foresight in appreciating the awardees over their remarkable contributions in the development of the industry.

"As a policy, we would continue to offer our best for the development of this industry which is a pillar of the society and you have challenged us to continue to do our best; and we wish you a progressive future ahead," he said.

Earlier, Mr. Teseer Nzughga, who read Mr. Isaiah's citation, noted, "A leading pro-good governance advocate and a writer on contemporary, domestic and international policy issues, and stands as one of the most respected men in the Nigerian media business, especially the print industry".
