Arusha — The annual Kilimanjaro Rugby 7's tournament, hosted by the Moshi- based Kili Cats Rugby Club takes place at ISM Moshi campus this Saturday 4th October.

The tournament organisers are expecting 9 teams to compete in the men's cup, including a return to the event from the 2005 winners Nakuru RFC. They are one of five Kenyan teams who have confirm their entry. The school's tournament composes of teams from Moshi and Arusha.

A spokesman for the Kili Cats stated "We are delighted that so many teams had committed themselves to playing. The tournament is only possible due to kind support that is recieved from sponsors. We are extremely grateful for Serengeti Select Safaris/ Tarangire Lodge and Kiliele Afrika for their assistance". Tanzania Breweries Ltd have also announced that they will sponsor the Kilimanjaro Rugby 7's, through their Castle Lager brand.

The action will kick off with pool matches at 8am on the Saturday, with the knockout rounds starting early in the afternoon.
