If there is a God up there interested in saving souls of those who have sacrificed their fellow housemates to save themselves, then he should come to the rescue of Takondwa. For apart from divine intervention, TK is sure going to face the housemates' wrath, come this evening.
The charge sheet against the Zambian is quite long. He is blamed by the housemates for the departure of the darling of the house Lucille. He is also faulted for Ricco's nomination. And his own character which is a mix of arrogance and inner confidence has not been alluring for the voting public, who are behaving like serial killers, baying for his head!
"I can't wait to vote out TK, he is so finished," said one Grace Kobusingye an avid BBA3 fan. But is the wannabe rapper who has been nominated a record seven times in the past two weeks by the housemates that guilty? Wouldn't the housemates have done the same as TK had they been in his shoes? Moreover despite his so-called "Rap attitude" which involves a number of "rituals"; sagged jeans, the cap worn low to cover the eyes, the slow walking - hasn't the boy pulled his weight during the tasks, actually winning twice, something the likes of Hazel will struggle to achieve?
As for the voting public, why bay for the boy's blood with such a passion? I thought the whole idea of Big Brother was to laugh at the ridiculous. So what is more ridiculously funny in that house than the two women, Sheila and Tawana fighting for no not hunky and chiselled Morris, but for the chubby TK?
Last week when Sheila shared her bed with TK, and engaged in a kissing session, I had to make sure I was not watching the movie Beauty and the Beast, it was shocking. Of all the dudes in that house, Sheila chooses TK to share her first Biggie snog! Now if that is not ridiculously funny TV, then I don't know what is.
Morris meanwhile can sit somewhat easy in the house after having become the Head of House for this week. The privilege comes with lots of benefits like immunity from nomination for a week, but it has its pitfalls - just ask TK. Hopefully our Morris will not face the same predicament the Zambian faced, and everything goes fine. I wonder whom Sheila will nominate this Monday, having constantly nominated Morris, ever since nominations began. Do you think she will spare the Ugandan?
Now for those who believe in miracles (me included) let us hold our breath praying for one, in the form of TK surviving the nominations. It would be such a travesty for someone to be nominated and eventually evicted for simply doing whatever it takes-including sacrifices others, to get his hands on $100,000. It's a game for crying out loud, so why sacrifice the Big Brother "street gangsta" TK or like the way some call him - the poor man's version of P.Diddy!
