Luanda — The creation of community radios and the functioning of the Radio Production Centres in the country were considered last Saturday in Luanda to be globally positive, by the director-general of the state-owned National Radio of Angola (RNA), Eduardo Magalhães.
Speaking to ANGOP, in the ambit of RNA's Day, which was celebrated last Sunday, the official stressed that the process of technical modernisation of the National Radio of Angola has enabled the installation of radio of greater proximity in the districts of Viana and Cazenga, in Luanda.
"Soon, the radio station of Cacuaco District will also start functioning", the director said, adding that with the functioning of the radio of greater proximity in those municipalities, the information will get closer to the public.
According to Eduardo Magalhães, the social dynamics and citizenship pedagogy represented elements of value in broadcasting programmes specially dedicated to these communities.
