Ghana: Owusu Baah Wins Achimota Sept. Medal

Dr Paul Owusu-Baah of Tema Women's Hospital won the Division 'A' category of Achimota Golf Club September Monthly Medal tournament, held at Achimota, over the weekend.

Dr Owusu-Baah, current competition secretary of the Tema Country Golf returned a two-under par 70net to win on count back from Theophilus Govinous in the 18-hole medal game.

The 'B' section top prize however went to Mike Bortei Doku, who won with a fine four under par 68 net, beating Ousman Camara 74net and young Daniel List, with a not too well 77net who took the third spot.

L. Remmeizwal won the ladies segment with a 75net count back score over Margaret Owusu Baah while Florence Etwi-Barimah of Tema took the third position with a huge 82net score.

B.C.M, the local Ghanaian Mining International Industry Suppliers, Earthwork Projects, Road works and Dan Construction Experts, sponsored the tournament.
