Ilorin — The Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Chief Joel Ogundeji, has laid the foundation stone of Iwo Community Resources Center at Iwo in Isin local government council of the state, charging the youths in the state to always contribute their quota to the development of their respective areas.
The Deputy Governor who made the call during the foundation stone laying ceremony in Isin local government council of the state, emphasized the need for the youths to follow the good steps of their leaders in the development of their areas.
Chief Ogundeji advised the community to always introduce programmes that would ensure youth development, adding that youths should emulate gestures of people like Segun Adeniyi and Alhaji Kamoru Ibitoye for their unparallel contributions to the community.
In his welcome address, the Oniwo of Iwo, Oba J.T Olutade, said that Iwo was noted for community development with a view to ensure the wellbeing of its people.
The monarch called on the youths to emulate their leaders in a positive way so as to lighten their burdens.
He also advised them to always tread the legitimate way to success and work harder as the royal father enjoined them to shun acts that could dent their image and truncate their future.
