Luanda — The new minister of Science and Technology, Maria Cândida Teixeira, this Monday here called for union and professionalism of staff of the institution she leads, so as to obtain a positive balance after the four year mandate.
The official, who introduced herself to workers of her sector, informed that in order to meet the goals outlined in the programme of the recently sworn in government there is a need for union and taking advantage of the knowledge of each staff.
"For the Ministry, the main issue concerns scientific and technologic research, therefore, we count on the collaboration of higher education institutions and with scientific research institutes, so as to self-evaluate the work after a four year period", he stressed.
On his turn, the outgoing minister, João Baptista Ngandajina, urged members of the management board and workers of the Ministry to continue contributing with diligence and dedication, with view maintain the respect already obtained.
João Baptista Ngandajina concluded his speech by reiterating his collaboration with the new management board of the Ministry, whenever necessary.
