Isaac Promise scored twice as Trabzonspor stayed on top of the Turkish Super Lig with a 3-2 away win over Konyaspor on Saturday.
The Nigerian, who only joined from Genclerbirligi, has only just broken into the first team as he missed the club's pre-season following his involvement at the 2008 Beijing Olympics with Nigeria.
After scoring in a cup game a week back, the softly-spoken star showed what his team has been missing with a brace.
Promise's first came when he slammed home a pass from 17-yards out in the 57th minute.
Then, controlling a long pass, holding off a defender before shooting past Tolga Zengin in goal for the hosts, the 20-year-old slotted home his second.
"I am very satisfied, there is no doubt about that," Promise told KickOffNigeria.com.
"I am really delighted to be back among the goals and I hope there are more to come.
"Thanks must also go to God and my team-mates. I feel fine now but I want to reach even better form."
