Ghana: Milo Delighted With Stars Response

7 October 2008

The Black Stars are nearing a full house ahead of Saturday's 2010 World Cup qualifier against Lesotho with only four members of the 23-man squad absent from the team's training session on Tuesday morning.

Midfielders Anthony Annan and Haminu Dramani, deputy captain John Mensah and inform striker Matthew Amoah are the four players who did not take part in the session.

But team officials say Annan, Dramani and Mensah joined the squad last night and will take part in the evening session.

Amoah is expected in Accra on Tuesday night and will join his colleagues for their first training session in Sekondi on Saturday ahead of the all-important qualifier.

Milovan Rajevac told KickOffGhana.com he was satisfied with the turn out in camp so far.

"The atmosphere in the camp is fantastic and I am delighted with the response of the players so far. My hope is that in the next few days we can prepare adequately for a big win on Saturday."
