Kampala — No one thought it was happening - that Morris was changing his mind about leaving the list of possible evictees as it had originally presented itself on Monday night.
Takondwa (TK), his unbothered lover Sheila, Hazel and Tawana make it to the dreaded list. Then head-of-house Morris is called into the diary room to either save one of the housemates and replace them with another, or leave the list as is.
Well, he first scores when he says he is leaving the list as is, and goes on and on about how he doesn't want anyone to get evicted, the reason he wants fate to take its course.
And Bingo! The Ugandan model, in a bizarre twist, changes his mind. He saves TK and replaces him with Ricco. And I am left wondering what happened to his beliefs of leaving fate to take its course. Is he possessed, that boy? What was he possibly thinking to guillotine Ricco? The dude just survived eviction on Sunday under a similar scenario where TK saved himself and put the Angolan on the chopping board, poor scapegoat.
Was Morris avenging since Ricco took Latoya away from him? I would love to imagine Morris would rise way above such pettiness.
Well, just when I am so pissed about our dude's move and wondering what it could have meant, I receive a message from a friend. It goes, "Hmm, so Morris saved TK? That must be Juju on home boy's head. Do you think TK's sweater has Juju?" And when I am soaked in laughter about Helena's jibe, another message comes, "Mulalu? (Is he mad?)."
Well, I somehow get over it and start looking at it from a strategic point view. I am positive Morris' move makes Sheila more vulnerable. And of course you know we have scores to settle with the Kenyan. It's likely Morris sensed that Africa hates Mr. Slow Motion (TK), and would evict him on any other day he shows up on the list. So Morris saves TK for a rainy day, gives us the long-awaited Sheila along with Ricco, who will not go. And here she is. Just type Vote Sheila and send your message to 6626 across all networks. That Kenyan must sink this time. It will make the M-Net reality show more interesting for Uganda.
Just don't worry about housemates nominating Morris next time. The Ugandan will be just fine, as housemates will be too busy picking fights with each other, fights that Morris is never a part of. So they will not even remember Morris guillotined Ricco.
Even then, the Ugandan might become head of house again. And TK owes him a favour. Of course by now you know how the Zambian, in spite of himself, has some good loads of grey matter up his skull that can help him win more head of house tasks. So he will feel obliged to save Morris (maybe Morris foresaw that too).
Tawana too owes Morris a favour after the Ugandan gave her a shoulder to cry on Monday night when TK officially jilted her for Sheila.
But seeing as it is, TK goofed because Sheila is shooting down every romantic gesture TK is extending towards her. And TK is too slow to read between the lines - dumbo!
