Nairobi — Military officers from Laikipia Air Base on Tuesday detonated a bomb found on a private ranch two weeks ago.
The bomb, weighing four kilogrammes, is believed to have been dropped at Loldoto Farm in Laikipia East District in the 1950s by officers who were conducting aerial military exercises.
Workers who were clearing a bushy area at the ranch saw the live bomb and informed police at the nearby Naibor Anti-Stock Theft Police Unit camp.
