Tunis — The new political bureau of the Movement of social democrats (MDS), held its first meeting on Friday. The meeting which follows the party's 8th congress from August 12 to14, expressed its consideration to President Ben Ali for his support to the movement.
The new political bureau also entrusted Mr Ismail Boulehya with the function of Secretary General of the movement , Mr Mohammed Moaada was nominated as the movement's coordinator general.
The new structure also reviewed the results of the congress, as well as the party's activities program.
In a related event, President Ben Ali congratulated Mr Boulehya for the success of the movement's congress, as well as for his re-election as Secretary General of the Movement , voicing his consideration for the movement's commitment to the country's fundamental choices.
