Tunis — President Mahmoud Abbas has arrived on Tuesday in Tunis at the head of an important delegation.
The Palestinian President is due to attend the works of the Democratic Constitutional Rally's (RCD) fifth Congress dubbed the "Congress of the Challenge".
Mr Abbes and his delegation which includes Mr Yasser Abd Rabbou, the Secretary General of the executive committee of the PLO, was met at the airport by Mr Hamed El Karoui , the first RCD vice -president.
President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali will officially open the RCD's 5th Congress by delivering an address on July 30, 2008, at the Kram International Exhibition Hall.
