Tunis — Amar (Ben Belgacem), a Tunisian painter living in France is currently exhibiting his works at the "Art- Libris" gallery in Tunis.
Until October 20, visitors will be able to discover Amar's dazzling pictorial world, where colors reign supreme.
Dubbed "Color gardens", the exhibit has already attracted a number of art lovers.
His paintings are also imbued with a sense of grace, innocence and humor which denotes a nostalgia for the painter's Tunisian youth.
Joy of life and energy also radiate from his works, whose abstract nature, far from being abstruse, convey the beauty of dreams and interior happiness.
His many paintings which include works such as "Deep joy", "Dream", "Let there be joy", "Eternal bliss", and "Concerto for my colors" are as many facets of Amar's "color gardens", which transcend the nightmare of history, by offering us an hymn to life and beauty.
Amar 29, is a globe trotter who has exhibited his works in 28 countries, he is also a member of the International Association of Plastic Arts, the International Academy of Lutetia and of the Union of Tunisian painters.
His works are part of the public or private collections of 20 countries.
In 2006 he was decorated as Officer of the order of cultural merit, by the Minister of Culture and Heritage Preservation.
