Luanda — The Angolan international master Adérito Pedro won last Monday, in Luanda, the second edition of the chess masters tournament, in the ambit of the preparation of the Angolan national team that will participate in the German Olympiads set for December.
The chess player, who recently signed a contract with Recreativo do Libolo of the coastal Kwanza Sul Province, got a total of five points. In the last round match, he drew with the national specialist, Catarino Domingos of Epal team.
Catarino finished in the second position with 4,5 points, while his club mate Ediberto Domingos came third also with 4,5 points.
