Luanda — The Angolan singer Margareth do Rosário will present to the public, next Saturday, at the gate of Atlântico Cinema, in Luanda, her latest album entitled "Em Nova Dimensão" (On a New Dimension).
Speaking to ANGOP, the artist, who started her career in the late 1990s, said that in this new work she mainly touches on the daily living of Angolans.
"It is a record with deep messages in which a try to emphasise the national daily problems. It is a way of showing that we are all on the same boat and ready to give our contribution to the struggle for the development of the country" she explained.
The main rhythms in this CD are the Angolan semba, kizomba and zouk, as well as the Cape Verdean coladera and morna.
The 13-track album will be published by the "Nossa Música" editors, and she has songs in Kikongo, Umbundo, Kimbundo vernacular languages, as well as Portuguese and Cape Verdean Creole.
Margareth do Rosário started her career with the female group "Melo Manias" (four female singers), but afterwards she releases her first solo album entitled "Love One", then in 2003 she confirmed her decision to go solo with the album "Amor Profundo" (Deep Love).
On Saturday, the public will have the opportunity to buy the artist's third album and also get her autograph.
