Kickoff (Cape Town)
8 October 2008
Thanda Royal Zulu's links to clubs around the world and avowed mission to develop soccer in South Africa could pay off in the next few weeks with the news that their striker Bernard Parker will be going for trials in Europe next week.
The PSL's leading goalscorer is scheduled to head for Malmo in Sweden after Bafana Bafana play Equatorial Guinea away at the weekend.
The Swedish-consortium owned Thanda has partnerships with Shanghai Shenhua (China), FC Moscow (Russia), Grasshoppers (Switzerland), Chonburi FC (Thailand) and Perth Glory (Australia).
