Kampala — NIGERIAN Big Brother housemate Uti Nwachukwu got evicted from the M-Net reality show on Sunday. Nigel Nassar had a phone chat with the 25-year-old model the following morning. Excerpts
Are you still reeling from eviction?
Not really. I showed Africa what I am capable of, why stress myself with eviction fever?
You messed up Biggie's house the day Lucille got evicted. Do you think it led to your eviction?
Man, you can't know what Africa wants. Maybe it contributed. I thought I was pulling a stunt that would keep me in the house. But hey, it backfired. But I love leaving the party while I am still having fun. I was beginning to get bored.
Why wait for Lucille to get evicted before you show feelings for her?
Dude, it is not cool to be rejected on television. What if she had said it to my face that she didn't have romantic feelings for me like she did to Thami?
Now that Biggie is not watching, will you pursue her?
I am not ready to relocate to Namibia. But man, she's a fine girl. Something tells me Morris too had a crush on her. But as you know, he's not one to show that much.
What if she chose to relocate to Nigeria?
I would just say bring it on now.
What about the girl I hear you are planning to walk down the aisle with?
I think you're just tricking me. There's no girl, not that I know of. Of course some day I will get married. I don't know when.
You wanted Sheila to cry for you when you were evicted. Did you also have a crush on her?
Sheila was just my tight, just like Ricco and Morris.
Speaking of Morris, he cried for you, did you watch that bit?
No I didn't. But I knew he would. He was my tight idiot, that one.
Did you say 'idiot'?
Yeah, that was our code, him and I. But of course not anyone else would call him that unless they wanted him to skin them.
Who do you think is going to win Biggie's $100,000?
It's Morris, Ricco or Sheila.
Why does she hate Morris?
I can't tell. But I don't think she hates him like Mimi hated me. All I would see of Morris and Sheila was some sort of tension.
What did you do to Mimi?
She called me a glutton and I said she was fat and not sexy like she would want us to believe.
Who do you think is the next evictee?
TK. I see people on the internet can't wait to skin him (TK was saved by Morris after he had been nominated on Monday).
Any plans to come to Kampala?
Of course. Morris promised me a big party with all the cute girls in attendance. I am coming to make my pick.
What's next on your schedule?
First, I have to finish my computer science and education course. My new semester has just begun, so I didn't lose any time. I am also looking at acting.
How are you going to handle the attention at school?
I am used to it. I have featured on billboards and television soaps before, so attention is not new.
