Angola: Theatre Group Puts on Plays to Celebrates Anniversary

Luanda — The theatre group Horizonte Njinga Mbandi will perform on 11 and 12 October, in the amphitheatre of Njinga Mbandi school, in Luanda, two plays entitled "A Bíblia" and "O Pendura", in the ambit of the activities to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of its existence, which was marked last Wednesday.

The performance set for 8 p.m on Saturday, with the play "A Bíblia", is about the secrets of life with a promise kept in a book.

While on Sunday with the play named "O Pendura", the group will touch on people's choices in life, a story between two friends that misunderstand each other due to the attraction of one of them to a young lady.

Horizonte Njinga Mbandi was founded on 8 October 1986 in Luanda by Adelino Caracol and Ezequiel Issenguele, and it comprises artists from various cultural areas, with relevance to theatre, aimed at promoting national culture.
