Ghana has dropped five places in the current edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking released yesterday.

The Black Stars now sit at the 25th position on the world ranking table with an accumulated point build up of 839 points, after losing 25 points.

The Black Stars also slipped from the second position on the African ranking table to the third position. Cameroon still tops in Africa, followed by Egypt, who leapfrogged the Black Stars. Nigeria and Ivory Coast follow Ghana in that order.

According to FIFA, a total of 125 international 'A' matches have been played worldwide since the last edition of the ranking, of which 106 were qualifiers for South Africa 2010.

European Champions, Spain are still leaders in the world, followed by Italy and Germany respectively.
