Bridge Foundation, an Accra-based NGO has presented football equipment to a colts club, Little Rock United, in Kokrobite, a suburb of Accra.
The football items, worth several hundreds of Cedis include a set of jerseys, a football hose and a football.
Presenting the items to the club, adopted by the Foundation, the President of Bridge Foundation said the gesture forms part of the Foundation's vision to equip the youth in the country with sporting skills.
"This is just the beginning of good things to come from the Foundation, we have the youth of this country at heart, and we will do everything possible to realize our dream of eradicating the street children menace bedeviling the country, by providing them with such basic sporting logistics," the President noted.
The President added that the Foundation was looking forward to arranging more friendly matches for Kokrobite-based juvenile club.
The coach of Little Rock, John Akwasi Acquah thanked Bridge Foundation profusely for the assistance and promised to use the equipment for the intended purpose.
Also present at the short presentation ceremony were Mr. Henry Nyarko and Master Isaac Osei Tutu.
