Angola: Brazilian University Offers Postgraduate Scholarships in Cardiology

Luanda — The Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, makes available every year two vacancies of postgraduate in cardiology for foreign physicians, reads a note from above institution sent Thursday to Angop.

According to the professor of Cardiology of the referred University, Roberto Bassan, the institution runs a two-year postgraduate course in Cardiology, since 1959.

The Regional Council of State Medicine of Rio de Janeiro issued a 230/2007 Resolution allowing the graduate physicians from foreign universities to obtain a temporary leave for medical practice under the supervision in Post-graduation programmes approved and registered in the referred council.

However, the university informs the applicants to contact, for further information, lecturer Roberto Baussan, through the e-mail "drbassan@gmail.or in telephone number 55 219988-2080.
