Carthage — During an official ceremony held on Friday on the occasion of Eid El Fitr, President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali received Eid El Fitr wishes from the Prime Minister, the Speakers of the Chamber of Representatives and Advisors, the members of the political bureau of the Democratic Constitutional Rally (RCD), the Mufti of the Republic, the members of the government, the Secretary Generals of political parties, the presidents of national organisations, consultative councils and constituted bodies.

The Head of State also received the wishes from the president of the Higher Islamic Council, the Imams of the Ezzitouna and Abidine Mosques, the Heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Tunis, as well as senior officials and personalities.
