South Africa: It's Make Or Break for Jabu Tomorrow

10 October 2008

Former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates midfielder Jabu Mahlangu will be involved in a do-or-die battle with his Swedish team, Osters IF, as they look forward for promotion into the Second Division next season.

Osters IF are playing Torslanda Ik tomorrow at 15h00 (Swedish time).

Mahlangu's club are currently occupying position two in the log after losing their league game last weekend and now are trailing the team in position one by four points.

Speaking to KickOff.com ahead of the game, 'Shuffle', who has scored four goals in 10 games played in Sweden, said they are ready to die on the field of play if they can collect maximum points.

"We messed up last weekend when we lost a game that we should have won. We are now trailing the leaders by four points and need to win the game tomorrow to close the gap and pray that they lose their two remaining games.

"We need to occupy number 1 to avoid going to the play-offs."

Mahlangu has also told KickOff.com that he is not aware of any moves linking him with a transfer to the USA.

"This is the first time I hear that, no one has told me anything about going to play in USA next season," he said of reports that have appeared in the South African media.
