Kickoff (Cape Town)
12 October 2008
Nigeria's Flying Eagles will face Sudan in Sunday night's race to the African Youth Championship without two players, Obiora Nwankwo and Emuobo Ambrose.
Flight scheduling difficulties ensured that the two players, who were due to depart for Sudan as part of the second batch which also included Team Secretary Emmanuel Adesanya and NFF Vice-President Amanze Uchegbulam, were only scheduled to depart on Saturday and arrive on match day.
The trip was subsequently cancelled and the Nigerian team are now left with just 16 players in the squad to face the hosts.
Nigeria hold a 5-0 victory from the first leg played in Abuja, and have already sent in a protest to CAF after the Sudanese moved the game to Port Sudan.
The game comes up at 20h00 local time (18h00 Nigeria time).
