Coach Ladan Bosso of the Nigeria Under-20 soccer team says that his team is in high spirit to face their Sudanese counterparts in the second leg encounter for the qualifiers for the African Youth Champion-ships in Rwanda and world youth Championship in Egypt.

Speaking to Sunday Vanguard at the Abuja airport as the team departed Nigeria for the Sudanese capital Khartoum, Bosso said the team had trained very well and is battle ready for the match set for Sunday, 6pm Nigerian time.

According to Bosso, "We have faced Sudan before and know how they operate. We won the match with 5-0 in Abuja but will not leave anything to chance. There is no room for complacency as it is not over until it is over.

"The match is as important as any other match and every player in the Sudanese team is good and as you know we are playing at their home so there is need for us to really concentrate. We have trained well and only require moral boosting talks to complete the story. It is my hope that after the match on Sunday (later today), we would have been singing victory songs."

Also speaking, the team captain, Kingsley Udoh who plays in the central defense explains, "We have a feeling in the camp that nothing is as good as an outright win even with a wide margin.

If we win, we would have had a clean record. Our coach sings it into our head that it is not over until it is over. Our minds are set at being Champions in Rwanda and later meeting the world in Egypt at the world Youth Championship. Since there is unity in the camp, by God's grace we are going to Sudan to win."
