Nigeria: King Donates Trophies YSFON

National Assembly member, representing Etinna Federal Constituency in Akwa Ibom State Aniedi King last Tuesday in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State redeemed the promise he made by donating two trophies to the Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) for the forth coming Governor Akpabio National U-17 Girls Silver Cup.

King described sports as a strong tool for cementing national unity among our youths especially as it has engaged most of our youth in the country.

"We cannot ignore sports, especially football as a unifying factor in Nigeria. The gesture by His excellency Governor Akpabio is commendable. This trophies are my own little contribution to the devellopment of football as a sports and as a way of keeping the youths busy", he said

He praised governor Akpabio for his vision and wealth of experience in sports development since he stepped into power.

"No doubt, ever since Governor Akpabio stepped into office, we have witnessed a lot of changes in the state. The governor has not hidden his love for sports and that is responsible for the sports development in the state."

The spokesman of YSFON Ben Ekpo who represented President Tunde Ojulari also appreciated the governor 's love for sports.
